The quintet have been named in Gareth Southgate’s 23-man England squad for this summer’s World Cup Finals, which begin in Moscow on Thursday 14 June with the host nation taking on Saudi Arabia in Group A.
England get underway in Group G on Monday 18 June against Tunisia but prior to that, they face two warm-up friendlies on home soil against Nigeria at Wembley on Saturday 2 June and Costa Rica at Leeds’ Elland Road on Thursday 7 June. All five players will also be eligible for those games.
Right-back Kieran is facing his first major international tournament, with the other four players having featured at Euro 2016 two years ago.
Dele made his England debut in a 2-0 home win over Estonia in October, 2015, and has scored two goals in 23 senior appearances to date. Eric’s Three Lions bow came in a 2-0 loss in Spain the following month and he’s so far won 25 caps, scoring three goals.
Harry Kane memorably burst onto the scene with a goal 79 seconds into his debut in a 4-0 win against Lithuania at Wembley in March, 2015, and he’s so far bagged 12 goals in 23 games.
Left-back Danny made his England debut in a 3-2 victory in Germany in March, 2016, and currently has 16 senior caps to his name while ‘Trips’ is our most recent player to join the squad, picking up five appearances since his bow in a 3-2 defeat to France last June.
